Today I got to give my first ever lecture! It was awesome! What a special opportunity.
Even better, as part of University protocol (for all guest speakers), I was able to meet the University President, Giancarlo Ibarguen... He is an extremely kind + humble man with an immensely decorated resume. As a gift he gave me a book called 'Not a Zero Sum Game', which was written by iMaria's grandfather, Manuel F. Ayau, the founding University President.
I am immensely humbled and grateful with the opportunity God gave me. I truly cannot put into words how awesome my experience was in Guatemala City.
The biggest part, undoubtedly, was the group of wonderful people I met while there, all the way from the hostal staff (Dona Amalia, Dona Aura, Olga, William, Marc Antonio), to the other faculty (Dean Quevedo, Ingrid Simon, Luisa Wer, John Rogozinski) + support staff at the university, to the students (14) that I worked with day in/out for some 7 days.
More to come... But wanted to clarify this photo sequence because I thought it was super cool to see the poster for the workshop up on the screens around campus.
I recommend 1/29 photos, they are the best to show campus in its full beauty... Enjoy!
